American Medical Aesthetics Corp (AMA) are specialists in the use of advanced cosmetic lasers to treat a full spectrum of cosmetic and medical conditions that range from vascular imperfections, pigmented skin lesions and loss of collagen, to more physically and emotionally debilitating conditions such as cystic acne, acne scarring, Rosacea and scars/stretch marks just to name a few.

What is most unique about AMA are the Advanced Holistic Protocols developed through years of clinical trials. These trials were initiated to intensely study the physics of, and physiological interactions between multiple types of laser modalities, various skin types and the conditions they are meant to treat. For example with cystic acne treatment, we will target the overactive sebaceous glands, shutting them down and returning your skin to its normal and beautifully calm state. In these treatments we often use an extraordinarily effective combination of specialized blue frequency light energy with ALA (Aminolevulinic acid) in a process called Photodynamic Therapy.

What has emerged from this intense research is the foundation of AMA’s Holistic approach that looks at the cause of a condition rather than just the symptoms to formulate an effective treatment plan. This concept is vital to our ability to deliver the exceptional results for which we have become known, with little or no downtime. Lasers are unique in their ability to specifically target tissues below the surface of the skin and transfer energy to the root cause. By understanding each laser’s purpose, we can treat the condition (whether it is rosacea, cystic acne or hair removal) with just enough energy from the right combination of laser frequencies to precisely affect the tissue.
