Melasma is a dark skin discoloration
found on sun-exposed areas of the face. It's
a very common skin disorder that can be treated
with the advanced lasers at American Medical

The group of people most
affected by this skin disorder are young women
with darker skin tones. It's also very common
for pregnant women and women who are taking contraceptive
pills or hormone replacement therapy to develop
it. The risk is also higher for people over-exposed
